Please Note: A finished medallion image is not available at this time. The image (left above) is the winning drawing after it is cast in plaster. From the plaster mold a rubber mold is made and finally an epoxy mold is cast. A reducing machine etches the design from the epoxy cast onto a steel die, working from the center out toward the edges. The text is then machined in before firing the die at 1,850 degrees F. for 24 hours.
We will get a photo of a completed silver medallion posted as soon as possible.
