The one-ounce Official Alaska State Medallion Proof should be the first Alaska Medallion in any collection. The front of the medallion is pictured on the right. Clicking either image will take you to more information where you can get an enlarged view and see the intricate detail and craftsmanship that goes into each strike. Check out the back issue pieces below to see how these medallions have increased in value over the years.
The 2008 medallions are now shipping. Each medallion is rim stamped with an individual serial number and production is limited to demand through 2008. They come encased in an air tight holder with velvet presentation box and information card.
